Bonfire Night!

Bonfire Night!

                                                                      Bonfire Night!

Remember, remember, the 5th of November... 🎶

Over the next few days communities will be celebrating #BonfireNight and we are asking you to be safe and sensible!

Fireworks are exciting, but a criminal record isn't.

We strongly recommend attending a professional display and avoid having your own displays at home.

Setting off fireworks in public places, including parks and streets IS illegal. It could land you with a criminal record or an unlimited fine.

A criminal record could seriously derail your:

 Future international travel & visas.

Career prospects and job applications.

Fireworks can be used in the UK any time from 7am to 11pm. Exceptions are Bonfire night: 7am to midnight New Year's Eve, Diwali and Chinese New Year: 7am to 1am.

You'll see more officers out on patrol around antisocial behaviour hot spot areas. If you spot anyone misusing fireworks or aiming them at buildings, people, or vehicles, report it to us on 999.
